Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse (what am I doing in this story…?)

The speed shoes were hung
By the chimney with care
The smell was fowl
As it hung in the air.

Sonic in bed
The day had been done
The snow was slippery
Yet running just as fun

Tails down the hall
Just as tired as “Blue”
Inventing presents
Bought only few

All was settled
Till there was a noise
Sure wasn’t Santa
Carrying toys

Sonic sat up
Rubbing his eyes
“That can’t be Santa
And his sleigh that flies.”

He jumped from his bed
Speedy and quick
Heading for the door
To see the fake Saint Nick

Sonic was quiet
Tails still in bed
“Might as well let him sleep”
Sonic then said
Out the door Sonic went
Right into the snow
And there on the roof
Was someone we know

Evil grin on his face
Sorta needed a tan
The pail rounded fellow
Known as Eggman

Eggman looked rather evil
Even on Christmas night
He “HO HO HO”d
Wanting a fight

“Are you ready hedgehog?!”
Eggman yelled from the roof
Sonic chuckled
Seeing only a goof

Eggman pressed a button
Looking rather coy
“Prepare yourself Sonic
For my new toy!”

Up from the sky
Came a giant machine
“Get him EGG REINDEER!”
Oddest thing ever seen.

Up to it’s antlers
Down to it’s feet
Sonic saw this thing
And thought it was “Sheet”

Eggman got in
The head cockpit
(Oh my bad for the slang
I meant to say shit)
“A reindeer how festive”
Said the blue blur
“If you started with that
It do more then just make me stir.”

Eggman was sick
Of the talk going on
He wanted him dead
For he was a con

O more time was wasted
A rocket was sent flying
As it hit Sonic
Eggman was sure he was dying.

Eggman waited
Till smoke was cleared
Seeing no blood
Just as he feared

Eggman noticed a flash
To see the speed
He freaked out quickly
Knowing what he need

He pressed a switch
The hoof raised up high
Just to come down
Waiting for the white of his eye.

Just as Sonic
Got into a ball
The giant hoof
Came down to a fall

Quickly landing
Sonic was swift
He moved to the right
It was quite a nice shift
“WHAT?!”
Was Eggman’s outburst
He wasn’t ready
For the attack was the worst.

A large sound was heard
A mighty KA-BOOM
Eggman knew
This was his doom

The cockpit window cracked
It was not strong
Eggman’s ambition
Was all but gone

Sonic stood there
Right on the nose
He was keeping Eggman
Right on his toes

Sonic grinned
With a “Tsk Tsk Tsk”
He knew it was over
He won this risk

Sonic kicked him
Right in the glass
Eggman got shot out
Right on his ass

He quickly got up
Got in his ship
Sonic said “Leave
You lost you dip!”

Eggman flew away
With a fear in a scream
Sonic just shrugged
Till he heard a reindeer team.
Looked on the roof
A real sleigh flew away
Sonic grinned knowing
He did good today

He walked into the house
Presents lined the floor
He walked right in
Closing the door

Sonic saw Tails
Still asleep
Apparently up all night
Counting sheep

Sonic went to his bed
Still making no noise
He smiled passing the presents
Tails would have new toys

He laid his head down
Tired from the fight
“Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night.”
